Job Title: Line Cook

Overview:
Covered Bridge Café is seeking an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Line Cook to help lead day-to-day operations in our deli. This role supports the team in overseeing food preparation, customer service, inventory, and team supervision to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency in everything we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help manage food prep, portioning, and presentation according to Café standards
- Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure proper stock rotation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, following health and safety regulations
- Address customer needs, resolve issues, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a deli, food service, or kitchen leadership role
- Strong knowledge of deli operations, including slicing, sandwich prep, and hot/cold food handling
- Ability to lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
